Pilling Resistant Testing Procedure (ISO 12945-2)



Step: 1- Precaution /Condition Taking before testing
S Receiving samples are required minimum 6 hours condition with temperature @ 20±2 °C & humidity 65±2 °C
Step: 3- Each test required 6minimum specimen
Step:4- The test specimen are to be taken randomly from from the sample without having common  weft and /or warp thread .Cut 6 specimen with the circular fabric sample cutter with 140mm diameter
              PREPARATION OF SPECIMEN
Step:5-Place the abrading felt on the abrading table
            Place the specimen with the face side upward on the felt. Place the pilling table specimen mounting weight on top of the specimen to ensure that no creases occure
Step7:-Place the clamping ring on the table and screw it firmly
Step:8-Take care of the warp direction of the specimen is always parallel to the abradant table
     PREPARATION OF SPECIMEN HOLDER                                                                                                             
          Step:6-Place the specimen holder ring around the device for specimen mounting and place both on the table.
Step: 7- Place the specimen with the face side down words on the device for specimen mounting. Place the abradent felt on the specimen an also place the specimen holder on the specimen.
Step:8-Roll the specimen holder ring onto the specimen holder from the bottom of the device for specimen mounting up words. And sure that no creases occoure
Step:9-Run the test and stop after 125,500,1000and 2000 revolution .Access the  result after each stop  in the viewing cabinent with out remving the specimen from the specimen holder.After each assessment ,mount one specimen and continue other specimen for further revolution
Step:10-Incase of H&M buyer test and stop after 125,500 and 2000 revolutions,access the result after each each revolution After each assessment place the specimen back into its original position in the machine and continue for testing.
