Step: 1 - Precaution /Condition Taking before testing
All Receiving samples are required minimum 16 hours condition with temperature @ 20±2 °C & humidity 65±2 °C REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Perspirometer
7 acrelic-resin or glass plate
Incubator or oven , to maintain (50±3)0C
Phenolic yellowing test paper
Phenolic yellowing control fabric
25micron butyl hydroxytoluene (BHT)-free polyethyne film
Light box with light source D65
Gry scale for assessing change in colour
Step: 4- Then Weight in the 0.001 Dec. .
Step:2-Cut the sample in warp deraction with 3cm X10cm,
Step:3-take one test paper for each sample , fold it in half along the 10cm axis and place the sample inside snd making sandwich
Step:3-Do the same with control fabric
Step;4-Placr each sandwich between two glass plate so that each sandwich is separated
Step:5-Place all glass plate on top of each other , One perspirometer can hold 5specimen +1Control fabric , If less then 5sample s are tested 7plate should still be in the stalk
Step:6-Wrap the stack firmly in three layer of BHT free polyetelene film and seal with adhesive tape to creat an airtight pack
Step:7-Place the package in the perspirometer , apply a pressure of 12.5kpa(5kg) lock it then remove the load.
Step:8-But in M&S method no need to keep the load , Directly it is place the inqubator
Step:9-Place the test device on its side in the oven for 16hour at (50±3)0C in up right position
Step:10-Then assess the specimen within 30 minute of un wrapping
