Step: 1- Precaution /Condition Taking before testing
S Receiving samples are required minimum 6 hours condition with temperature @ 20±2 °C & humidity 65±2 °C
Step: 2-Cork cylinder liner , about 146mm wide by 452mm long cut from 1.5mm thick flat sheet of thick flat sheet of type P2117A material conforming to classification system F104, Appendix X2 ,The original surface of the liner produce by slicing the material
Step:3- The test specimen are to be taken randomly from from the sample without having common weft and /or warp thread .Cut 6 specimen with the circular fabric sample cutter with 140mm diameter
Step:4-Air injection device to give 14-12kpa(2-3psi)air pressure in each test chamber ,
Step:5-Use glue for sealing edge of specimen
Step:6-Cut specimen in squre 105mmX105mm on the bias and approximately 450C angle to the warp deraction
Step:7-Seal the edge of all specimens to a width not exceeding 3mm on the face of the fabric with adhesive Hang the specimen on rake until dry , and in any case for at least 2 hour
Step:8-Place the three specimen , all from the same sample and about 25mg of 6mm sliver in to the test chamber
Step:9-Place the cover on the chamber ,and set the timer for 30min
Step:10-Use the viewing apparatus and option selected from table 1 and either suitable fabric or photographic standard
Step:11-And rating given as per standard photographic raplica
