Tear Strength Testing Procedure

   (ASTM D1424, ISO 13937-1&2, M&S P29)

Step: 1- Precaution /Condition Taking before testing, Receiving samples are required minimum 4 hours condition with temperature @ 20±2 °C & humidity 65±2 °C

Step:2-Avoide fabric within 50mm of selvedge and cut 3 specimen From Left ,middle and right.Ensure that no two specimen cointain the same set of warp and weft thread. 

Step: 3- Testing procedure with different

Step: 3-Calibrate the tear strength m/c  with pendulum A,B,C,D and E.

Step: 4- Then taken 3 different reading with James & Heal Tear Strength Testing Machine.

Step:5-Note down the three different  reading as well as range also. The range should be in between 20% to 80%.

Step: 6- Give Average result of 3 different Reading and pass/ fail according to the customer standard protocol requirement.

Step:7-And reporting to  as per customer standard requirement  protocol
