TENSILE STRENGTH TESTING PROCEDURE

Step: 1- Precaution /Condition Taking before testing

*
       All Receiving samples are required minimum 4 hours condition with temperature @ 20±2 °C & humidity 65±2 °C

Step: 2- Cut sample systematically in both direction like Warp & Weft in Left, Middle, Right position with proper reveling

Step:3-Mark the parallel line  of 38 mm with warp and weft direction for finding of middle position of the specimen

Step: 4- Testing procedure with different methods.

Test Methods
Sample Size
Gauze Length
Jaw Size
M/C Speed
ASTM D5034 (Grab Method)
150x100mm

300 mm/Min.

Step: 5- Then taken 3 different reading with Tenuous Olsen Tensile Strength Testing Machine.

Step: 6-For the acceptance of result the test specimen should be brocken with minimum 0.5mm distance from the jaw grip. Other wise result is discarded.

Step: 7- Give Average result of 3 different Reading and pass/ fail according to the customer          standard protocol requirement.s

  6. The tensile strength testing procedure involves several steps: conditioning samples at a specified temperature and humidity, cutting samples in specific directions, marking parallel lines for positioning, and testing with various methods like ASTM D5034 and ISO 13934. Each method has specific sample sizes, gauge lengths, jaw sizes, and testing speeds. After taking three readings with a , the Tensile strength tester Machine average result determines pass/fail status according to customer standards.
