M&S Color Fastness to Perspiration Test (M&S C7)


Step: 1- Precaution /Condition Taking before testing
Receiving samples are required minimum 6 hours condition with temperature @ 20±2 °C & humidity 65±2 °C
Step: 2- Sample Preparation: Attach the sample and multifibre  with below Same Size
Step 3- Preparation of solution.
     If the face &back of the fabric are of different shade or fibre composition  Both side should be tested in contact with in all six component of the multifibre
Step:6-Take 20:1 liqure ratio and pour into the petridish. Wet out the composite specimen thoroughly by firmly tapping with edge of the glass plate  to remove the air bubble. And leave 30minute at room temperature without the glass plate in place.
Step:7-Again firmly tap the composite specimen with edge of the glass plate over the specimen to remove air bubble. Place the glassplate squarly on the composite specimen and leave to stand for 15 minute at room temperature.
Step: 8-Then remove the excess solution by applying only sufficient pressure to hold the glass plate in position.
Step: 9-Then allow to keep inside the oven with 37°C for 4 hours. At the upright position
Step: 10- Then dry the specimen and multifibre separately in air dryer with below 60°C temperature.
Step: 11- Record the change of shade of the specimen and the staining of the indivisual specimen .
