Step: 1 - Precaution /Condition Taking before TESTING.
All Receiving samples are required minimum 4 hours condition with temperature @ 20±2 °C & humidity 65±2 °C.
Step: 2 - Take diagonally minimum3 Sample from Left ,Middle and Right. Avoid using fabric within 50mm and ensure no two fabric pieces cointain the same set of warp and weft YARN.
Step:3-The sample cutter capable of giving a specimen area of 100cm²±1cm² . And diameter should be 11.28CM.
Step: 4- Then Weight in the 0.001 Dec. weighing balance.
Step:5 - Calculation: WeightX100=GSM
Step:-6-Report the average of three reading of the specimen nearest to 0.5g of the weight.
